Audit plays a high-profile role in identifying and mitigating risks and allowing Lloyds Banking Group to grow in a safe and controlled way. And when you think that we are talking about one of Britain’s largest banks, with over 30 million customers, that’s quite a responsibility.
As an independent but consultative division that works with the Group, we look at the areas of the bank where risk exists and ensure we have robust controls in place to mitigate them.
If you’re adaptable, team-spirited, independent and looking for a programme that will open up the widest range of career options in banking and financial services – this is it.
On this programme, you’ll be part of a close-knit community of high-achieving graduates, as you complete placements across multiple UK cities. A role in Audit offers the opportunity to see the bank from a unique perspective – you’ll learn how the bank functions as a whole and gain insight into multiple business areas across the entire organisation.
Due to its central role in how we function as a Group, Audit is an area that provides a great stepping stone towards senior leadership positions. And, because our intakes are small, we can ensure each graduate has the full support and attention to develop the right specialist and leadership skills for a great career.
Join our 10-week internship programme and you’ll be fully supported to gain valuable work experience in Audit, as part of a select community of students. As the programme recruits small numbers, you can look forward to real responsibilities and exposure to senior leadership from day one.
Overall, you’ll learn a lot about us, but you’ll also learn a lot about yourself. Not just the strengths you can bring to our team, or the skills you can develop further, but where you might like to join us, after you graduate.
Locations: All of our Graduate Leadership Programmes are rotational and our Audit roles are based across London, Edinburgh and Bristol. Interns will stay in the same location for the duration of the programme.
Salary: Graduate salaries start at £28,000p.a. and Internships are £18,000p.a. pro-rata.
