This programme offers motivated people the opportunity to enhance and influence the way the Commercial Bank functions. You’ll learn a lot about our business, but also about how you can make a real impact on our clients’ businesses too.

Join us, and over two years on this rotational programme, you’ll build on your knowledge of our operations and gain experience throughout the UK, as part of diverse Commercial Banking teams.

You’ll complete four, six-month placements in different UK locations, where you’ll work on projects supporting the client relationship teams and our product specialists. You could be delivering change projects, understanding our response to cyber threats, assessing and mitigating risks or managing a team of people within Client Services.

And, as part of our goal to become a financial organisation of the future, there will be lots of opportunities for you get involved in our latest digital initiatives. You might work with Big Data, Tableau, SAP Business Objects and other platforms that will improve your data mining knowledge and skills. Or you might get insights into how we’re integrating robotics and automation to simplify manual processes across the Group. You could even be part of our Lending, Servicing or Onboarding labs, using agile methodology and a sprint approach to help develop new technologies and applications for onboarding new clients.

Every day will be an opportunity to develop your strengths in stakeholder management, and analytics and presentation skills. You’ll also get the chance to be involved in initiatives that give back to communities, like through the Group’s partnership with Mental Health UK. Plus, we’ll support you as you study to achieve an industry recognised qualification such as Chartered Banker, APMP or Six Sigma.

By the end of the programme you’ll have developed a well-rounded understanding of our operations and client businesses of all types and sizes. You’ll also have a greater awareness of your strengths and interests, and how you can be part of leading a major financial organisation.
