Join us on this two-year rotational programme and you’ll be given responsibility from day one, working in a diverse range of teams within one of our UK regions. Whether you’re based in the Midlands, Scotland, North, South West, London or East Anglia, you’ll complete placements in Small to Medium Sized Enterprise (SME), Mid Markets (MM), and Products and Credit within a specific region.

In SME you’ll join teams that work with a fast-growing portfolio of clients who trade domestically and internationally. Those businesses have a turnover of £1m-£25m. In MM, you can help support the financial needs of more mature businesses, whose turnover ranges from £25m-£750m. And as part of our Products and Credit teams you’ll help source and advise on the best financial products to help businesses thrive. By working closely with clients and learning how best to understand and support them from start-up to growth, you’ll develop your relationship building and analytical skills, expand your product knowledge, and discover new strengths along the way. In addition, we’ll support you to study for either an ACT, CIMA or Chartered Banker professional qualification.

Throughout all of your MM & SME placements, you’ll be involved in the Group’s roll-out of digital products like our corporate client online channel, and other platforms that simplify our clients’ banking experiences. You’ll also help our clients to understand cyber risk and fraud to help prevent attacks. And you’ll have the opportunity to lead important initiatives that give back to communities.

By the end of the programme you’ll have developed a well-rounded understanding of businesses of all types and sizes. Not only will you know how to support organisations that shape the landscape of British business, you’ll be well positioned to help lead us to become the financial organisation of the future, too.
