On this two-year programme, we’ll empower you to learn a lot – about yourself, and our Insurance business – through three, eight-month placements, across three different locations in the UK.
The first is a customer-facing placement where you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of our customers; what they want, and how you can best meet their needs. The second will be in a specialist area such as our Channels or Product teams, and aims to expand your commercial and strategic skills.
The third placement is designed to help you develop your leadership skills and potential. You’ll take full responsibility for leading a change initiative, a product development project or potentially managing a team.
It’s a lot to take on, but you’ll receive plenty of support along the way. There’ll be lots of opportunities for your personal development, but we believe your professional development is important, too. So while you’re one this programme, you’ll also complete a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute. You’ll learn about Insurance Law, Insurance Business and Finance, Risk Management, Long-Term Insurance and Claims Practice.
By the end of the programme, you’ll be ready to take on a role that inspires and excites you, anywhere within our entire Insurance business.
During your 10-week paid internship, you’ll gain first-hand experience in either a customer-facing or specialist insurance environment. With access to a large range of learning resources, you’ll build your knowledge and professional skills, and our managers and senior leaders will support your growth, too. So while you are part of our team, you’ll have lots of opportunities to embrace your interests and discover what new challenges you can get involved in once you graduate, in Insurance.
