Every hour of every day, our dedicated IT teams connect customers and colleagues through technology; empowering our business to become a leading digital bank for our customers across the UK.

In IT Business Management, we provide the technology infrastructure for 2,880 branches and support over 12 million internet bank users, plus 7.3 million active mobile banking users. And, we’ve committed to invest £1 billion in technology to transform our digital capability. Not only are we responsible for ensuring that the Group’s IT systems run on a 24x7 basis, we need to ensure our infrastructure systems across the entire Group are supported and available, whenever our customers need us. This is a huge responsibility, that comes with fantastic opportunities and great work fulfilment.

Even if you’re not studying IT, or have a degree in a non-STEM subject – that’s ok with us! IT Business Management needs a range of people with different skill sets and experience to drive it forward. If you’re motivated and curious about technology, and you enjoy building relationships, managing projects and improving the way things are done, then you could thrive on an IT Business Management Internship, or Graduate Leadership Programme.

On this two-year programme, you’ll experience three, eight-month rotations in core IT disciplines, across multiple UK cities. You could work in a management role in areas like Cyber Security or deliver small and large process changes or help shape technology and future thinking for the business.

You’ll find it’s an ever-changing and dynamic role, where you’ll discover ways to introduce and use innovative technology quicker, while providing support structures for our banking brands and customers alike.

Our paid internship programme is a fantastic opportunity to discover more about Lloyds Banking Group and the areas of the business you may like to join after you graduate. Spending time in IT Business Management, you’ll develop greater business acumen and learn more about the unique skills you can bring to the teams in which you work.

You’ll work on a range of projects, be given real responsibilities, and gain incredible insights into how technology drives the best experiences for our customers.

Locations: All of our Graduate Leadership Programmes are rotational and our  IT Business Management roles are nationwide, with main hubs in Edinburgh, London, West Yorkshire, and Bristol. Interns will stay in the same location for the duration of the programme.
