Retail Banking is the face of Lloyds Banking Group, one of the UK’s largest Retail Banks with three of the best-known high street brands in the country; Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland. We help our customers with their finances, on the high street, on the phone and online. In fact, more than 30 million customers trust our innovative practices and valuable customer advice – whether they’re buying homes, starting new businesses, or withdrawing money at a cash point. In addition to our customer-facing business, there are also teams devoted to business operations, business risk, marketing and brands and product development.

We’re at the forefront of this ever-changing sector and our Retail Banking Internships and Graduate Leadership Programmes are an opportunity for individuals who enjoy collaborating and building relationships, to springboard into a prominent, meaningful career.

Graduates

The graduate opportunities in Retail Banking are so broad, you’ll have the chance to learn how to make a difference for people, while also directing your own career path. Over two years, you’ll work in multiple UK cities and learn how to provide excellent customer service, be it online, in person, or over the telephone. The variety of this programme means you could go from leading a team in a contact centre to helping design a marketing strategy for a new product or service within a year. You could even discover how to design and deliver great products. And with our commitment to agile working, you’ll benefit from flexible and inclusive working practices, too.

Interns

Our 10-week, paid internship programme is a fantastic opportunity to discover more about Lloyds Banking Group and the teams within Retail Banking. Not only does it give you the chance to discover what types of tasks and roles you might like for your future career, but it enables you to gain some practical professional experience, too.

Locations: All of our Graduate Leadership Programmes are rotational and our Retail Banking roles are based nationwide. Interns will stay in the same location for the duration of the programme.

Salary: Graduate salaries start at £28,000p.a. and Internships are £18,000p.a. pro-rata.
