Risk is the area of our organisation that works with teams across Lloyds Banking Group to make it safer and more resilient for our customers and colleagues. We strive to create a more robust and sustainable business, and ensure the bank’s ideas, solutions, plans, decisions and processes have in-built protection, to deliver long-term commercial success. In fact, we act as the second line of defence for the Group, managing existing issues and mitigating emerging threats, and we’re growing in profile and significance all the time.

For problem-solvers and analytical and strategic thinkers, the Risk internship and Graduate Leadership Programme make for a complex and fascinating challenge, not to mention the start of a business career with real visibility.

Join us and over two years, you’ll gain a significant insight into the Risk function; discovering how it interacts with and impacts the rest of our organisation. It’s a varied programme that will help you pursue your interests – and discover new ones – while you develop your strengths, too. Overall, it will give you the right experience and knowledge for a managerial role in our organisation, and a future career in Banking.

During your 10-week internship, you’ll discover the fundamental role of Risk, within our broader business. You’ll benefit from an impressive range of learning and development opportunities, plus the full support of managers and colleagues, and gain an understanding of what work could be like for you, after you graduate.

Locations: All of our Graduate Leadership Programmes are rotational and our Risk roles are based nationwide. Interns will stay in the same location for the duration of the programme.

Salary: Graduate salaries start at £28,000p.a. and Internships are £18,000p.a. pro-rata.
